It's a boy!!!

Dear friends,

Tonight at 7:27pm Doris gave birth to a beautiful healthy boy. We opted for a Ceasarian birth because 5 hours of heavy contractions only gave an extra 1 cm dilation. Well... the baby would never have fit: 4.17kg (9lbs3), 53cm long and 37.5cm head circumference: he's BIG!!!

Doris and the baby are both doing really well. We'll keep you posted on progress (and name)!

Labour has Started!

Hi Everybody,

Well, it's 9 days late, but Doris' labour has started. Early labour started at 3AM this morning (very, very mildly), and the doctor broke the waters at 9AM. In doing so he pulled some hair from the baby's head... see photo!!!
